7.25 Prayer

Blessed are you Lord, our God, king of the universe, who makes the best way, works the marvelous miracles, and keeps His promises. Because you guide us, we do not stumble. Because you protect us, we are now safe. And because you love us, we’ve been saved. It is you who redeemed us by sacrificing your only Son, but we can finally live forever because the Son of Man has resurrected from the death. Now, we praise and glorify your name, that we’ve gained everlasting victory in Christ Jesus.

Thank you Lord, that you let us blossom and harvest fruits through the Buddy Program with HUFS. Though there were unexpected Covid crisis so that all the programs were switched online, but since you are the way maker, you invited 4 new friends to come and join this Sunday service. And you also led 15 people to build new relationship with us. Those are the friends whom you already planned for us to meet. Just like you showed from the two weeks program, we do not know the details of what you have planned for us, but now we realize that we do not need to be tremble anymore because we can put our trust and hope in you.

So from now on, we repent our sins that we doubt your almighty power and fear the things too much. It was our arrogance, which Satan deceives not to trust your words and instead, lean on ourselves’ juvenile wisdom. Lord, please let us read and meditate your Rhema, the living word of God, everyday so that we can passionately seek and follow the wisdom of Holy Spirit.

Lord, the world is suffering from the Delta variant, massive heat wave and political bloodshed. We know these are the outcome of our sin, so please forgive our sins and show your mercy to us. Despite of this generation of chaos, let us humble our mind and live our life by standing firm on faith. Protect us not to be tempted but give us your strength and energy to endure the trials. Let us not stop preaching gospel and spreading love to our neighbors. And make us rejoice with each other in the hope of resurrection, so that we can overcome daily worries and the fear of death.

We are willing to hear your voice from today’s message. Pour your wisdom to our messenger, Pastor Caleb Kim. Soften our rigid ears and heart so that we all not to be distracted but fully focus on the message. And finally, bless all the staffs and members in BICF, including the people who weren’t able to join today’s service.
In God, we trust. Thank you, Lord.
